Description
This terroir, located at the edge of the Grand Cru Pfingstberg, was exploited as early as 1287 by the bishopric of Strasbourg, the largest owner of vines in Alsace under the Ancien Régime. It is therefore one of the first terroirs in Alsace to be named after its "place of origin".
Ageing potential: 10 years or more.
